Here's the MQ3, in bits in the garden. I also had a ZL special to assemble but that only took 20 minutes.
It doesn't take long to put it together and I mailed Tom McKay who makes these who kindly mailed me back the "version 2" dimensions.
Finished. Now to fit to mast.
Take the strain.
Up she goes. Bit of a bend here!
I then took it all down, and had some u-bolts welded to the sides of the brackets. These act as cable guides when mast is "up".
Fully assembled and all working. Now I just need to work on planning permission!
My traditional "mouse view" and those cable guides at work. I'm very proud!
